Who is Cincinnati Tattoo? J.R. entered the tattoo industry in 2008 under the tutelage of master tattoo artist and weapons engraver, Carl Bleile, who apprenticed under the legendary tattooer, Cliff Raven. Through dedication and true passion for the craft, J.R. gained ownership of Cincinnati Tattoo & Piercing in 2014 where he continues to make his mark. J.R. enjoys tattooing all types of subject matter and styles from illustrative, blackwork, and floral, to traditional tattooing like Japanese and American. In his personal life he is an animal lover, spouse, father of two, and a godfather to nine. He enjoys playing bass guitar and singing with his band “Light Up Lazer Sword”, camping, and kicking back with friends and family. He loves making new connections and his warm demeanor will welcome you in.
