Age & ID Policies
Adult ID Policy
Adults who are ready to get pierced or tattooed must provide a government-issued photo ID (i.e. a State ID Card, Driver’s License, or Passport). The ID cannot be expired and must be documented every time you receive a new piercing or tattoo, even if you have shown it on a prior occasion.
Piercing Minors with Parental Consent
At Cincinnati Tattoo & Piercing, we offer an honest, communicative and encouraging environment but understand that some kids may not be ready on the day and that’s okay! Our piercer withholds the right to refuse piercing services if the minor for any reason. If your child is overly anxious or nervous about the piercing service, we may recommend trying again at a later time. We encourage all patents to call us ahead of time to get information about the piercing experience. For the safety and comfort of our customers, we never pierce with mechanical devices or “piercings guns”.
By law, a parent or legal guardian must be present in the room during the piercing procedure.
